After the Food Basket project we did with the Rotary club, when Covid hit the island in 2020, we decided to continue the project.
Since 2021 we provide Food Baskets to (all) the children who are in our school uniform program.
In 2021 we could surprise 37 families with a food basket and in 2022 all 51 children from our school uniform program.
The baskets contain basic foods as rice, oil, pasta, milk, beans, oatmeal, coffee, sugar, eggs etc.
So we know that ‘our’ kids will have decent meals during the Christmas days.
We provide the baskets on the last school day before the Christmas Holidays with a little celebration.
We will continue this project in 2023.
