Project Future Plans

• Renovating the Manguito school
• New educations to learn a profession.
  Domino Foundation Dominican Republic is preparing something new! Our goal to offer education to children ages 4 till 12 is realized. Our new project is focused to teach children a profession after finishing elementary school. Education in practice as a local cabinet maker, tailor, metal worker, beautician, hairdresser etc.

At this moment we’re preparing the education for cabinet maker. In the Netherlands much furniture its simply thrown away. This is a waste and bad for the environment.

Furniture which can be restored will therefore be shipped to the DR, where they will be repaired by students taught by a professional.

The restored pieces will be sold locally and therefore the project will be able to be self sustaining!
