Visit ‘Cayo Levantado’, also known as Bacardi Island and see the whales (mid January till mid March).
This jewel of a tiny island is located just off the ‘Samana Peninsula’.
Powdery white sand ad turquoise crystal clear water, the perfect spot to relax, swim and snorkel.
During mid January till  mid March the humpback whales come to the warm waters of the Bay of Samana to give birth.
After approx 4 to 5 hours ride we will reach the bay of Samana to take the boat  to see these impressive animals. Animals are animals and we can not control them, it might happen occasionally that we will not see them. After the whale watching we continue to Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island) to enjoy the sun and the beach). We will have lunch on the island and mid-afternoon we will return to the hotels.
